What this website collects, and what it does not.

Draft, pending legal review.
The short version
Apart from one decoy path described below, this website serves static content. It runs no analytics or advertising scripts and sets no tracking cookies. We do not build profiles of visitors.
What we collect
Nothing beyond what is strictly necessary to serve the site securely. Our hosting provider processes standard technical logs, such as IP address and request metadata, for reliability, security, and abuse prevention. We do not use these for tracking or marketing.
If you email us, we receive the contents of your message and your email address, and we use them only to respond to you and to handle any resulting collaboration or disclosure.
Decoy file
The path /.env is a decoy. Our robots.txt asks every crawler not to fetch it, and it contains no real credentials. When something fetches it anyway, we record the time, a crawler name recognised from the user-agent (or a generic label), the country and TLS fingerprint our host attaches to the request, and a random token placed in the response. We do not record the IP address or the raw user-agent. We use this only to understand automated traffic that ignores robots.txt.
Cookies
The site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Any cookies present are limited to what the hosting platform requires to serve the site.
Hosting and processors
The site is hosted on Vercel, which acts as a technical processor for serving content and related logs. Email is handled through our mail provider. We keep the number of third parties deliberately small.
Your choices
Because we do not track you, there is little to opt out of. For any message you have sent us, you can ask us to delete it. Contact arnold@edictum.ai with privacy questions or requests.
Changes
We will update this page as our processing changes. The date above reflects the last revision.
